Thanks to a great berry season, I was able to start being the hippie homesteader freak that I dream about, and start making JAM, these blackberries came from the in laws plants and we also had enough to make WINE.

First step is to crush the berries, Mia had an awesome time with this part

Adding sugar and pectin, you boil it down till it makes a syrup...and put into sterilized glass mason jars

Once the jam was in the jars, they were dipped in boiling water again to seal the lids, we made about 15 JARS, of super yummy jam goodness.
