A Special Music Class

At last music class, Mia and I had a special treat, Craig got to join us and see what all the fun is about. Mia loved the her Dada was there to share in the music, dancing, handclapping, and instruments.

Mia and Murple's Vet Adventure

It was that time of year, for The Murple Kitty's annual visit, and shot update..she was less then thrilled. The last time Mia did go with us, but she was super tiny and I was way too overwhelmed to take pictures, this time, however I was able to get some shots..of Murple..getting her shots..ha..anyway..

 I am NOT fat, my human's just give me too many treats! ok ok, I did indulge in baby formula, but I can stop any time I swear!

 I just want you to know, that I am only tolerating this, cause I am a good kitty, but I will meow pitifully and that will get me more treats.

Murple made it out just fine, shots and all, The Vet said she is perfect and super sweet, despite the pitiful meowing..
It was a pretty full day so naps were in order...for all..

Story Time!!!

This week was Mia's first date at Story Time at the Library!, since we love books in this house, this day was awesome. There was some book reading, some singing, some dancing and then the kids were let loose, to play with each other and the toys. I have always love libraries, and I hope to pass that love down to Mia, since she already likes to sit in a chair and flip through pages, I say we are well on our way to make a book lover out of the The Bean..

The soul of sunday

Fairs and The mostly Unplugged sunday

On saturday we went to the Milford Oysterfest, with Grammy and Grampy which has been going on...forever, unfortunately we forget to take the camera out of the car, so I do not have any pictures from that day.

Sunday we stopped by the Coventry Farmers Market, which has an event every sunday from july to october, you can check it out at

It is at the Nathan Hale homestead

They have all sorts of goodies, stuff to look at and taste, Mia had fun running around in the field, we hope to return for a few more sundays till the season is over.

The reason it is called Unplugged sunday is we spent most of the day, off the phone, no tv, and NO computer, I do put on the radio for acoustic sunrise, on 96.5fm, but most people will forgive me.

All in all it was a wonderful weekend, and as the summer starts to fade, I'm looking forward to one of my favorite seasons, Fall and all the fairs, food and fun to be had.
