Jackman

Craig's parent's have a little slice of heaven in Jackman, Maine, is a sweet little cabin on the edge of a lake. We have an unplugged time when we are there, no tv, no computer, just us and nature. We did go last year but Mia was really too tiny to enjoy it. So this year we were very excited to have her be there now that she is more mobile. She loves to be outside, so it was great to have her run around and play in the lake.

The weather was perfect and the Bean had a ball!

The Most Excellent Beach House

My side of the family decided to get together at Cresent Beach in Niantic CT.
It was Mia's first time at the beach and in the ocean, she got to play with her cousins, see her uncle from London, and just have a great old Bean time. It was a wonderful week full of awesome moments

The 4th

The 4th of July weekend had us up in Maine, where it was actually warm, and we had some really great weather, it was Mia's first time in a pool, not sure what she thought of it, sometimes she liked it, sometimes,...not so much. As usually we were surrounded by family, laughter...and food..

The start of the weekend Mia had a playdate with Joe's girlfriend Laura's nephew...did you catch all that?
Jacob was such fun to watch and the two of the interacting was super funny.

There were lots of highjinks going on, particularly with Daddy's toe socks.

And then there was the pimping it poolside

The day of the 4th had us at a Gaudet party, where Mia got to play with some cousins, there was lots of love to go around

I can honestly say a great time was had by all....

Berry Face

Last Saturday, we found ourselves Strawberry picking at Rosehill farms, This was Mia's first taste of strawberries and she was really hooked on them. Momma made a mistake of putting her in a white shirt, and the results were pretty funny...

The Farm itself was beautiful, it even had some birds nesting, I was so close to one I thought it was fake!
